Given that, in accordance with its constitution, the objective of the Studienvereinigung Kartellrecht is to promote German, European and international antitrust law, it has always had an international outlook. This outlook is also demonstrated by the working groups founded in Austria and Switzerland.
Each working group is headed by a member of the Studienvereinigung's board from the country concerned.
The Austrian and Swiss members each elect the chair of their working group in separate ballots. At present these chairpersons are the board members Dr. Axel Reidlinger for Austria and Mario Strebel for Switzerland. Working meetings are held regularly in Austria and Switzerland. There are also quarterly or biannual discussions held with the Swiss and Austrian competition authorities and competition courts.
